  1. I’m eating less and trying to move more…but primarily eating less. Now that a chunk of weight has come off and I’m physically feeling a lot better (sleeping better, feet/hips/back don’t hurt so much) I am introducing a bit of cardio 2x a week. If/when I can establish that habit I am maybe going to look into strength training.

    I mostly cut booze out of my diet for a myriad of reasons… I am (sadly?) entering the age where a couple glasses of wine is like playing Russian Roulette with a hangover and it just isn’t worth it, especially when you have a young kid. I also lost my Mom shortly after the “before” photo was taken and introducing even small amounts of alcohol to grief is a recipe for disaster. I was drinkng probably one or two bottles of wine a week prior to weight loss and now I might have one Saturday a month where I have a few drinks, if that.

    I don’t step on the scale often and I don’t weigh myself every day. I eat when I’m hungry and avoid using food to sooth myself/entertain myself/reward myself.
